Chiranjeevi elevator issue back fires

Chiranjeevi was at Vidyuth Saudha in hyderabad and was protesting the power supply issues of farmers and after doing dharna in front of Vidyuth Saudha, he entered the building and wanted to hand over the memorandam to the officials. PRP leaders were stuck in the elevator for around 15-20 minutes.

In assembly Chiranjeevi was talking about how hard it is to be without power citing his example for getting stuck in the elevator.

However, the major irrigation minister Mr Ponnala Lakshmaiah, ridiculed Chiranjeevi’s rhetoric and said the elevator in which the PRP leaders were on got stuck because of overload and not power failure.

All the 18 Praja Rajyam leaders, who went to meet the APTransco chairman entered the elevator, which only had a capacity of 10. “It is unfortunate that Mr Chiranjeevi is also trying to politicise issues,” he said.
