Cops encountered 2 maoists
Politics | admin | March 12, 2010 at 5:25 pmCops have encountered 2 most wanted maoists from the state Shakamuri Appa Rao and Solipeta Kondal Reddy alias Tech Ramana, in two separate incidents in Nallamala forest and Warangal on Friday.
Appa Rao – state committee member, and Kondal Reddy – weapons expert, were both heading action teams which were allegedly targeting politicians and cops. This killing will be a big blow to the maoists.
Meanwhile, the People’s Union for Civil Liberties termed the two encounters at Warangal and Nallamala as fake and has approached the SHRC seeking action on the director general, Girish Kumar.
