Hyd Congress MLAs not to submit report
Politics | admin | March 13, 2010 at 7:02 amHealth Minsiter Nagender, who has been opposed to separate Telangana state right from the start, has declined to join the signature campaign by the Telangana MLAs’ Forum to submit a detailed report to the Srikrishna Committee constituted to look into the Telangana demand.
Nagender, Mukesh feel that there was no need to submit any separate memorandum or report to the Srikrishna committee, when the AP PCC itself is submitting an official report, taking into consideration the views of all regions. “We don’t think we should submit a separate memorandum only for Telangana, because it amounts to be against the high command. If only Telangana view point has to be submitted, then Mukesh and myself will demand that the views of the people of Greater Hyderabad also should be heard,” he said.
Congress MLA from Jubilee Hills PJR’s son Vishnu also turned down the representation of the Telangana MLAs, saying that he would write a separate letter to High command Madam Sonia Gandhi seeking the formation of separate state of Telangana.
