Hyderabad part of Telangana — Botsa

Continuing his theory of creating two Telugu speaking States, Panchayat Raj Minister Botcha Satyanarayana said Hyderabad was part and parcel of Telangana.

“Nobody can divide it from Telangana and demand that it be made into a Union Territory,” Mr. Satyanarayana said on Tuesday even as he stood by his campaign in support for division of Andhra Pradesh for all-round development of three regions.

Notwithstanding the bouquets received from pro-Telangana protagonists and brickbats from supporters of integrated State, the Minister insisted that the Srikrishna Committee has given a great opportunity for people of all regions to put forth their cases before it.

“Everyone should come forward and cooperate so that the work is completed at the earliest,” he said in an informal chat with reporters.
