Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy has once again exposed her in-experience, weakness in handling crisis situations and proved her inability to deal firmly with leaders who instigate violence for their petty political gains.

Her inability was once again was very obvious on Monday when she held all political parties meeting with and police officials at the Assembly committee hall to discuss the ways to control the riots and situation in Hyderabad. During the meeting, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi reportedly attacked the police officials for arresting the MIM activists in the name of checking violence.

Akbaruddin abused top police officials including DGP Girish Kumar and Intelligence chief Mahender Reddy using foul language (which cannot be published).

But, Sabita was a silent spectator, she did not utter a word even as Akbaruddin was foul mouthing the officials. She looked utterly helpless and the cops too did not retailiate because of the presence of the minister.

Afte the meeting an official later remarked that had the Home Minister been tough, the police would have silenced Akbaruddin Owaisi long ago. “Unfortuantely, MIM is the friendly party of the Congress, which needs Muslim votes. Our hands are tied-up,” he said.
