Ruling party Women MLAs seek Woman CM

The ruling congress women MLAs have initiated a debate on 33% reservations for women and said that it is time that the state thinks of having a woman CM. At the time of the debate CM Rosaiah was not present in the assembly.

Adding fuel to fire another ruling party MLA Konda Surekha demanded the TDP chief to have Woman as the president of TDP. CBN was in a embarassing situation for a while in the assembly.

Minister for information and public relations, Dr J. Geeta Reddy said, “We are all thankful to the UPA chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, who took the initiative for the introduction of the bill”.
