T effect on Tollywood

The Telangana activists are alleged that injustice was being done to the directors and artists of Telangana region in the Telugu film industry. On Sunday, hundreds of pro-Telangana activists staged a dharna in front of the Telugu Film Chambers alleging that injustice was being done to directors and artists of the Telangana region.

The Telangana activists, supporters including a few artistes, staged dharna at Film Chambers office where the general body meeting of the directors was going on. The directors’ meeting discussed the issue later and decided to look into the demand put forth by the Telangana artistes, before it becomes too serious to effect Tollywood.

Police arrested more than 25 pro-Telangana activists and supporters who were staging dharna in front of the Film Chambers in the city alleging that injustice was being done to directors and artists of the Telangana region.
