TRCCC – The Telangana Regional Congress Coordination Committee, which was silent in the last five years during the YSR goverment, has suddenly woken up from sleep in the wake of revival of the Telangana movement.
TRCCC led by former minister G Chinna Reddy met on Wednesday and decided to submit a detailed report to the Sri Krishna Commission demanding the formation of separate Telangana state. Chinna Reddy, along with other senior leaders Purushottam Reddy and Goverdhan Reddy, are now planning to take credit, stating that they had run the agitation for several years for formati of separate of Telangana.
Madhu Yashki, MP from Nizamabad has taken strong exception to the revival of the TRCCC. ‘Where were these leaders all these days, when students were dying and people were taking to streets? It is not good for the party nor for Telangana. The TRCCC was a forum of politically unemployed people; and if they come out again, people will not believe them,” he said.
There are news going around that Madhu Yashki has grown beard and is having a new look, when asked about the beard he said it is for a change, but close party leaders revealed that Yashki has decided not to shave and go beard until separate Telangana State is formmed.
