Defections in PRP
News pulse, Politics | admin | April 29, 2010 at 9:39 amIt looks like it will be one more round of defections in PRP, The parry’s chief Chiranjeevi might not be comfortable with the news.
Former MLAs Kala Venkat Rao and Kothapalli Subbarayudu, who have been the backbone of PRP in Srikakulam and Godavari district, are all set to quit the party and make a move back to their old party, TDP. Kala Venkat Rao reportedly met TDP president CBN on April 29 2010 and made the deal, while Subbarayudu also sought an appointment of CBN sooner or later.
PRP chief, Chiranjeevi while participating in a live show in a television channel, looked surprised on hearing the news. He said he still hoped that the leaders were still with the PRP. “Yet, if somebody wants to go out of the party, I won’t stop. I know all those who are quitting the party are selfish and corrupt,” he said.
