I am bound to my statements on YSR – Kaka

G Venkataswamy, veteran Congress leader and former union minister on April 11 2001 said that he is bound to and stuck to his allegations made on former chief minister YSR.

Talking to the media, he said he would stand by his allegations. “Yes, YSR had encouraged encroachments of lands by big people. And he got me and my family implicated in false cases of land encroachments. I have all the evidences to this effect,” he said.

Kaka said that those who had benefited from YSR in encroaching hundreds of acres of land were making false allegations against him. He also re-iterated that YSR was never in favour of Telangana and had stalled every move of the high command to take a positive decision.

For the last couple of days, Venkatswamy has been creating ripples in congress party. More than 50 memorandums had been faxed to the AICC by YSR loyalists, demanding that Venkataswamy be suspended from the party.
