I will tour Telangana – PRP chief

A huge number of Praja Telangana Party leaders stormed into the Film Club and raised slogans against Chiranjeevi for supporting Samaikyandhra and making anti-Telangana statements. They said that Chiranjeevi had no moral right to hold party meetings in Telangana. The PRP activists had entered into an altercation with the Telangana activists, leading to tense situation and they clashed.

Disturbed over the incident, PRP chief Chiranjeevi tried to maintain cool and smile. He said that “We are committed to Samaikyandhra, And I strongly believe that the people of Telangana are not against the PRP. I will prove it by touring the entire Telangana alone, without any following. I am sure no one will create any troubles for me,” he said.

We guess Chiranjeevi is thinking that he is having the same fan following as he used to have before supporting Samaikyandhra. As he thought when he entered into politics, he thinks that he has lot of people behind him and supporting him. We all know the history of PRP, how PRP lost in the elections.

Unfortunately, there is no PRP in any of the Telangana districts and the party offices have almost been wound up. One wonders how he can tour in the region without taking with him the Andhra leaders and supporters.

PRP chief, Chiranjeevi is making bold statements just to convince his leaders, he also knows the reality that if he tours Telangana, there will no response and he will be obstructed by Telanganites and will have to face many tense moments.
