On the occasion of TRS’s ninth anniversary on April 28 2010, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti representatives unanimously passed 23 resolutions.

Addressing the party anniversary meeting organised at the Imperial Gardens in Secunderabad, the TRS chief, KCR, said that gross injustice was being done to the irrigation projects in Telangana. He also demanded that the government cancel the GO No. 34 pertaining to tail-end project in Dummugudem and drip irrigation.

The meeting also unanimously passed a resolution demanding that the government immediately complete the SLBC project and Lendi project in Nizamabad. The TRS leaders also warned of a war-like situation if Telangana was not made a separate state.

The TRS ideologue, Prof. K. Jayashankar, said that war-like situation would be inevitable if the Srikrishna Committee failed to give a report in line with the aspirations of Telangana people. He said that the panel formed by the Centre to look into the issue was the last hope for the people demanding separate Telangana state.
