TRS chief, KCR, on April 28 2010 warned that Telangana region would turn into an battle field if the government tries to suppress T-movement.

KCR, addressing about 15000 delegates assembled at a TRS 9th formation day celebrations at Imperial Gardens in Secunderabad, said, If Telangana is denied there will be a civil war.

Accusing the Congress, TD, PRP and CPM of ditching Telangana people, he said henceforth TRS would go alone strengthening its base from grass root-level. “We will not merge with any party. The TRS will lead the Telangana movement and achieve statehood. We have had alliance with the Congress party and TDP in the past, but they ditched us,” he recalled.

LCR called CBN a power hungry sikandi (eunuch) scared of the TRS, and said the PCC president, DS was spineless, as he did not submit a report to the Srikrishna committee despite being a Telanganite.

KCR, women leaders and mother of the late Srikantha Chari, who ended his life for the cause of Telangana at LB Nagar, became emotional when a youth sang a song in praise of the martyr.
