Congress MP, Undavalli Arun Kumar, said that he was not against the formation of a separate statehood of Telangana.

In a interview, Arun Kumar said he was also not against smaller states and added that he would abide by the decision of the Congress high command with regard to Telangana. He, however, differed with the arguments of the Telangana supporters that people from the Andhra region have robbed the Telanganites.

Stating that he would not mind even if the state were to be bifurcated, he said the allegations made by Telangana supporters were causing him pain. He said that the TRS chief, KCR instead of trying to resolve the problem, was using harsh statements like cutting the tongues of the Andhrites.
