Minister for Panchayat Raj, Botsa Satyanarayana said that there were mistakes in the TDP senior leader, Harikrishna’s statement over the Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra. In a democracy, every citizen had right to visit any place in the country, he added.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on May 17 2010, Botsa said that a leader, whoever it may be, has to know about the local situation before visiting that particular area. Telangana sentiment is very much there in all the Telangana districts and if Jagan visits Warangal in the name of Odarpu Yatra, there will be very tense situations in Warangal.

Responding to a query, Mr Botsa denied that there was no co-ordination among the leaders in the Congress party and asserted that they were all working in great co-ordination even on trivial issues. “One should not magnify petty issues. One could witness co-ordination during the Congress Rededication Day meeting to be held in Lal Bahadur Stadium on May 20 2010,” he added.
