I am not afraid to tour T – Chiranjeevi

Chiranjeevi met the CM Rosaiah, in the Secretariat on May 1 2010 and discussed about issues including seats reduction in IIITs and rendering help to farmers hit by untimely rains and hail storms.

Talking to mediapersons later, Chiranjeevi said that he urged CM to immediately release scholarships and mess charges to the students. He also urged CM to immediately render help to the farmers who lost their crops due to the recent untimely rains and hail storms in some parts of the state.

Chiranjeevi said he had submitted the schedule of his Polavaram tour programme to Rosaiah, so that steps could be taken by the government to ensure that the public were not inconvenienced. When media persons questioned about his proposed tour of the Telangana region and the threat by TRS and other T supporters that he would not be permitted to tour the region because of the stand he had taken against separate Telangana statehood, he said he was not afraid of such threats.

Stating that Telanganites also were responsible for his growth as Megastar in movies and that he would always be indebted to them, Chiranjeevi said he had no fear to mix with people. He re-iterated that the separate statehood of Telangana demand was being made by some persons for their own political survival and the people of the State want to live together like brothers.
