Jagan the congress MP, son of late CM YSR is scheduled to go on a so called Odarpu Yatra in Warangal to console the families who have lost their loved ones in a shock when YSR died in a helicopter crash last year.
The O yatra has been creating tensions in Warrangal, Telangana supporters and congress supporters have been clashing at many places, Telanganites do not want Jagan to come to Warangal, but Jagan’s fans are saying that he will tour warangal.
On May 26 2010, TDP leaders and supporters have submitted a memorandam and requested the collector and SP not to give permission to Jagan’s O Yatra.
At the same time Jagan’s loyalist Konda Surekha and her husband Konda Murali have requested the SP to arrange for the police bandhobhust for the scheduled yatra of Jagan.
TDP leaders Erraballi Dayakar Rao and Revuri Prakash Reddy said that if the collector and SP grant permission and Jagan comes to Warangal, they will definitely obstruct him and said that the police and Rosaiah government will be held responsible for the aftermath of the yatra.
