SKC’s member-secretary VK Duggal, said that the report of the SKC would be the final word on the Telangana issue as it would give a comprehensive and detailed report suggesting solutions to the vexed question.
Speaking to the media at the Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad on May 19 2010, Duggal said that he hoped that the Sri Krishna Committee would be the last Committee on the prolonged Telangana issue as it was holding widest possible consultations with all sections of the people from Telangana, Andhra and Rayalaseema areas and its report would be comprehensive.
The Centre would take a final decision acceptable to all on the issue based on the report of the Committee, he added.

Duggal sahib, the final word on Telangana will come from the people of Telangana.
If you & Srikrishna Committee are instrumental in forming Telangana, your contributions will be remembered for ever. If not, you will be consigned to the trash cans of history
