Student dies, Jagan arrested – tension in T
News pulse, Politics | admin | May 27, 2010 at 4:29 pmOne person died in the police firing at Mahabubabad railway station as T supporters and Congress supporters literally clashed over Jagan’s Odarpu yatra.
Trouble began when T supporters and Congress supporters started pelting stones at one another. Following the violence Jagan was arrested on Friday, May 28 2010 at Vangapally.
Protesting against the police firing, the students from T JAC have called for a Telangana bandh on May 29 2010. On May 28 2010 Jagan made a move for the yatra which aims at consoling the families of those who died following the sudden demise of his father YSR in a helicopter crash last september.
