T bandh ended peacefully

T supporters haved called a T bandh on May 29 2010 protesting the police and Konda’s gun men firing at the telanganites in which many have been injured and a couple of them are in seroius condition.

Besides a few stray incidents, the Telangana bandh eneded peacefully in Telangana districts, Hyderabad and Cyberabad, according to the DGP, Girish Kumar. In a press release in Hyderabad on May 29 2010 evening, the DGP stated that dharnas and rasto rokos were organized by T supporters.

There were six instances of damages to private properties and eight instances of damage to public property. This includes burning of three buses of Gautami Model School in Warangal, one APSRTC bus at Kukatpally, two buses of SSIT Engineering College at Gandimaisamma, Dundigal and damages to two buses each in Adilabad, Khammam, Warangal, one bus at Yadagirigutta, two buses in Uppal and tyres of two buses were deflated at JNTU, Kukatpally.

The residence of Maheshwar Reddy(Telangana Drohi, as named by T JAC) in Nirmal town was stoned.
