After the meeting speaking to media at Moinabad, Vivekanand, said bifurcation of the state was unavoidable and a separate statehood of Telangana should be formed as it would help develop the backward region in all sectors, such as, Health, Education, Employment, Irrigation, Power and so on. He said that the MPs and MLAs would be meeting the five-member Sri Krishna Committee on separate days to put forward their views and opinions. Vivekanand said that they discussed how they could extend support to those who have resigned from their posts for the cause of a separate Telangana.

Ram Reddy Damodar Reddy speaking to media after the meeting, said that the MPs and MLAs would meet the Sri Krishna committee separately and will put forward their views independently that a separate statehood of Telangana must be granted and Telangana state alone would bring about development in the region.
