Complaint on Danam filed with Police
News pulse, Politics | admin | June 5, 2010 at 5:00 amA realtor from Hyderabad complained to the police alleging that the Minister for Health, Danam Nagender, was harassing him. Rami Reddy, a realtor and builder has lodged a complaint against the minister with the Banjara Hills police station stating that the minister was threatening and harassing him. The police have registered a case and taken up investigation.
In the mean time it is learnt that the issue came into light in the Cabinet meeting on June 5 2010, leading to an argument between the Home Minister, Sabita Indra Reddy and Nagender. According to information, Sabita Indra Reddy lamented that the police was being made to register criminal cases even against the ministers.
Reacting sharply, Danam is believed to have told the Home Minister that it would be better if she verified facts before talking about him. However, the issue was quickly subsided with the interference of other ministers.
