Congress to contest by-polls in T – DS

The ruling Congress party has decided to contest the upcoming by-polls in Telangana caused by the resignation of the TRS MLAs. The PCC president, DS called on the party cadre to work for the victory of the party candidates in the by-polls.
Addressing the congress leaders from Karimnagar and Adilabad at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad DS asked the cadre to get ready to face the upcoming by-polls in Telangana. DS reportedly said that the Congress high command has taken the decision to contest in the by-polls.
There was as mixed response from the TRS over the Congress decision to contest in the by-polls, the TDP has said that it was not proper for the Congress to take such a decision.
