DS for Telangana

DS is now singing Telangana song, with RS doors more or less closed with the high command closing in on the names of the high profile Jairam Ramesh, Neduramalli, J D Seelam and V Hanumanth Rao, the desperate DS has to spend sleepless nights.
With no other option left, DS is banking on Nizamabad by-polls from where he was upstaged by a little known BJP candidate Yendala Laxminarayana in 2009 elections. Though the notification for the by-elections is yet to be issued, the PCC chief is already touring the Nizamabad urban constituency extensively to wrest the seat from Laxminarayana, who quit the seat in support of separate Telangana state.
DS is interacting with people of various divisions and holding meetings in each division. Since the by-elections are going to be held on Telangana plank, DS is trying to project himself as a strong Telangana leader.
“It is a complete turnaround for DS since the time he has lost the 2009 elections. He is going all out to woo the people and win the seat. The desperation is evitable,” a political analyst said.
