Referring to the statements made by DS, State BJP chief questioned DS saying, If Sonia Gandhi is ready to give Telangana state, then what the purpose of setting up a committee called Sri Krishna Committee. He also commented that Congress party has come to power by promising variuos welfare schemes for the people, but the congress party is not keeping up the promises that it made before the elections.

TDP polit bureau member Yanamula Ramakrishnudu also questioned DS about the statements he made to impress the Nizambad voters that Sonia Gandhi is ready to give Telanagana next year, Yanamula said that why the congress government is wasting time in the name of Sri Krishana Committee. It looks like a joke when DS says that Sonia Gandhi has personally told him that Telangana will be formed next year.

Yanamula also said that the congress party has the history of fooling people by making false promises and this time also the congress party is making statements just to get the votes and talking in favour of Telangana. He challeneged DS saying, If the congress is serious about Telangana it should form the separate statehood of Telangana before the T by-polls.
