HC rejected petition to postpone by-polls

High court has rejected the petition filed by the Lawyer from Ananthapur for the postponding the by-polls in the Telanagana region. The by-polls are scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2010. The by-polls are required as the 10 TRS, 1 BJP and 1 TDP MLAs have resigned in support of separatee statehoos of Telangana.

The high court said that they would not involve in the by-polls in the Telangana region and rejected the plea.
