The APCC chief, DS said that he did not regret that he was not given Rajya Sabha seat. Talking to the media on June 4 2010, DS said that he never asked for RS nomination.

DS was denied RS ticket following the decision of the Congress high command not to send any one who lost an election, to the Upper house of Parliament. He said that had unsuccessfully contested to the Assembly during the 2009 elections.

Well, everyone knows that he was eyeing the RS, when congress list is finalised and his name is not included, there will be no other go, but to give these kind of statements.
