The Congress high command has given the green signal to his controversial rally, but asked to stay away from Telangana until the by-polls in Andhra Pradesh. “There is no problem whatsoever. All misunderstandings have been cleared,” Jagan said.
Jagan, had defied the party and gone ahead with the rally in the volatile Telangana region last week that triggered violence that necessitated his being arrested on May 28 2010.
Party sources added that Moily asked Jagan to continue his ya-tra in the Andhra and Rayalaseema regions of the state but not in Telangana. He was asked to stay away from Telangana until bypolls in the 12 assembly seats, vacated by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) legislators, were over.
He flew to the Delhi to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi to explain his version of the incidents that have occured in Warangal, but could not meet Sonia Gandhi and managed to get appointment with her political secretary and senior party leader Ahmed Patel.
