Andhra Pradesh congress party incharge Veerapa Moily on June 1 2010 denied that the Congress leadership has given the “go ahead” to Jagan for his controversial Odarpur Yatra in Andhra Pradesh in memory of his father, the late YSR.
Moily said Jagan, has not brought the Odarpu Yatra issue during their meeting earlier in the day on June 1 2010, condradicting the latter’s claim that he has been given permission for his o tour.
“He did not seek permission. I did not give permission,” Moily, who is party in charge of Andhra Pradesh, told reporters in Delhi. He said that Jagan should not resume his rally even in the coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema regions for now.
Jagan, after his meeting with Moily Tuesday, claimed before media persons that the senior party leader had expressed appreciation for his tour.
