Threat to state BJP chief, Kishan Reddy

The State BJP chief and floor leader in the Assembly, Kishan Reddy received a threatening letter in the name of Islamic Republic of Hyderabad Lashkar-e-Toiba suicide bomber cell.

The letter scripted in urdu sent by the terrorist organisation reached the State BJP office in Hyderabad on June 10 2010. In the letter, the miscreants demanded Kishan Reddy leave India immediately, otherwise all the Hindus in the State capital will be killed. They also threatened to pull down the RSS office in Begum Bazaar if the “Goshala” (cow shed) land was not sold to the person who was financing for procurement of weapons to the terrorist cell.

The miscreants also challenged the city police to trace and nab them if they have guts. On receipt of the letter, the BJP chief lodged a complaint with the Abids Police Station.

The police have seized the letter and took up investigation.

UPDATE: DCP said the investigation was done and they have concuded that the letter was not sent by LET, but a local person who is having issues real estate issues.
