TRS in a bad spot in T by-polls

Students JAC has threatened all the political parties of dire consequences if they field candidates in the upcoming T by-polls, but neither the Congress nor the TDP are taking it seriously and are going ahead with the process of selection of their respective candidates.

It looks like the student leaders would concentrate mainly on selection of candidates by the TRS, which they insist should field the members from the families of those who have committed suicide for the cause of Telangana.

The TRS now has two sets of candidates who have made ‘sacrifices’ for the cause and each claiming that they should get the party tickets. While the MLAs who have resigned from their seats for separate State are claiming that they should get the party tickets in recognition of the sacrifice they have made.

The Telangana Students Joint Action Committee and some other bodies have come up with the strong argument that members from the families of those who have laid down their lives by committing suicide for the Telangana cause should be given the party tickets to contest the by-polls.

It looks like TRS is in a bad spot in the selection of the candidates for the by-polls.
