64.2% voters cast their votes in T by-polls

In the T by-pools an estimated 64.2% voters cast their votes for the 12 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh’s Telangana region on July 27 2010.
Barring minor incidents, the polling remained peaceful. Voting ended at 5pm India time, but the election authorities allowed all those standing in the queues to cast their votes. The highest polling percentage of 75 was recorded in Siddipet while it was only 51 percent in Nizamabad Urban, where state Congress chief DS is contesting
