Ambati gets show cause notice
News pulse, Politics | admin | July 9, 2010 at 4:08 pmThe Disciplinary Committee of the Congress party has issued notice to the PCC general secretary Ambati Rambabu on July 9 2010, seeking explanation from him for making a derogatory statement against the Chief Minister K Rosaiah on July 7 2010.
Rambabu made serious allegations against Rosaiah for cautioning MLAs, MPs and Ministers of the party not to participate in Kadapa MP Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra, as there was no clearance from the party high command.
When media persons questioned Rambabu about the show cause notice, he said he was yet to receive it. He said he would respond to the notice only before the party’s Disciplinary Committee. He has contended that his statements did not voilate party discipline. He further said that it was internal matter of the party and refused to respond before the media.
