Later, Yuva MP tried all means to be in the news and have his presence felt in the congress party, but a lot of leaders from his own party are against him as they feel they have been kept silent by his late father YSR, but some congress leaders who were loyal to late YSR are backing Jagan in all his steps and following him.

Jagan desperately tried to go on Odarpu Yatra, the tour to console the families of the people who died in a shock when his dad late YSR died. He went on the Odarpu Yatra to Warangal, even though the congress high command did not give permission and the Odarpu Yatra took a violent turn when MLAs gunmen opened fire on Telangana supporters injuring many Telanganites, then Jagan was arrested.

Stubborn Yuva MP still wanted to continue his Odarpu Yatra and tried to convince the high command, there were no listeners in Delhi at Jagan. Jagan then used his mother sentiment and a letter was written by his
mother to AICC chief, Sonia Gandhi for an appointment. Jagan waited for 3 weeks and finally Jagan got a chance to meet Sonia Gandhi. Jagan, yuva MP with his mother and sister tried to voice their opinion and concern on his Odarpu Yatra, but still there was no green signal for Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra.

There is news from Jagan’s camp that Jagan will be continuing his O yatra as scheduled on July 8 2010.
