EVMs at 7 consituencies in T by-polls

In a set back to the T supporters the Election Commision announced that they will be using Electronic Voting Machines at the 7 consituencies in T by-polls.
It is known that the nomination filing dates had a deadline of July 9 2010 and after that day, the EC checked all the nomination papers filed by the candidates, there were 926 nominations files, out of them 213 nominations were rejected and only 713 have been accepted.
In the 7 constituencies, there were less than 64 nominations that concludes that the EVMs will be used at those places. It should be understood that EVMs can handle only if there are no more than 64 nominations.
This has disappointed the Telangana supporters who wanted to have a ballot papers in the T by-polls.
