Harish Rao won from the Siddhipet constituency by majority over 95,000 votes, this is a record in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly in the current situation where money and power was used like water by the ruling congress party. As of this writing fireoworks are being popped all over Siddhipet and at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.
