KCR gets EC notice for violating code

The Election Commission on July 20 2010 sought Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief, KCR’s response to charges that he had made inflammatory statements ahead of the by-polls in Telangana region and thus violated the model code of conduct.

KCR made the statement that if Telangana is not formed then there will be a war like situation and we will get our Telangana. EC has also noted that KCR make the statement that if T is formed he would make a Dalit as CM and a muslim as deputy CM.

EC noted that by making these statements KCR has violated the election code. KCR has been asked to reply before 11 am on July 22 2010.
