Mekapati brothers to join O Yatra
News pulse, Politics | admin | August 27, 2010 at 8:21 pmJagan who has scheduled his O yatra in Praksham district from September second week is getting support from mekapati brothers, Though the Congress high command has given clear indications to party leaders, including MPs and MLAs, to distance themselves from Jagan’s O yatra, the Mekapati brothers, who have a considerable following in the Congress in Nellore district, have come out openly in support of the yatra.
The brothers — Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy, MP from Nellore, and M Chandrasekhara Reddy, MLA from Udayagiri, have not only declared that they will lead Jagan’s yatra but also are busy mobilising the cadres to ensure the success of the programme which is likely to be held in the second week of next month.
