T anti-suicide pledge got a huge response

T JAC has given a call to pledge for the anti-suicides on Aug 18 2010 at 11am, complying with the call given by the Telangana JAC and the Committee for Prevention of Suicides, a large number of government employees, students, political parties, leaders of Telangana in the twin cities on August 18 2010 pledged collectively against suicides for Telangana.
The Telangana employees working in the Gagan Vihar Complex, Economics & Statistics, ITI Mallepalli, Irrigation department at Erramanzil, the APPSC, the BRKR Bhavan, the Collectorates of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts along with the heads of 77 departments and students took collective oath against committing suicides. It was estimated that some 15,000 employees participated in the programme and lakhs of students participated at various locations in Telangana region.
Students at Osmania University were seen participating and taking the pledge with lots of enthusiasm.
