Verdict is clear – Keka pettina KK

Congress Working Committee permanent invitee, K Keshava Rao also called as KK said that the people have given a clear verdict in the by-polls reiterating their demand for separate statehood of Telangana. He said that he and other Telangana leaders would discuss about the formation of Telangana state with congress chief, Sonia Gandhi. He also claimed that Sonia Gandhi was in favour of carving out separate Telangana State.
Speaking to mediapersons at his residence on August 1 2010, KK said that he never witnessed such an electoral result in his political life. He said that the movement for Telangana intensified after the December 9 statement by the Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram.
Reiterating that the Congress leaders were committed over separate Telangana State, the CWC member said the Congress legislators did not resign from their posts following an assurance given by the Congress high command. KK also urged the leaders of the Rayalaseema and Andhra regions not to comment on the Telangana because it was very sensitive issue. He strongly felt that respecting the people’s verdict in the by-polls.
