The prestgious Hyderabad Ganesh Nimajjanam is going on Peacefully, Ganesh Idols from various parts of the city are being joined by thousands of people from across the state for the Nimajjanam. The city is echoed with slogans, Ganesh Maharaj ki Jai, Ganapathi Bappa Moriya, Agale baras Thu Jaldi aa
Hyderabad has been setup with Saffron flags, Thousands of Ganesh idols were taken out from all corners of the twin cities for immersion in the lakes.
The Hussainsagar lake was the main centre where vast majority of the idols were immersed, while the Saroornagar, Safilguda and other lakes were also used for the immersion. The main procession started from Balapur on the city outskirts with thousands of idols joining en route.The procession passed through Charminar, Moazamjahi Market, Basheerbagh cross roads and reached the Tank bund for immersion.
Procession is going on with band, gulaal, fire works and people dancing all around the city.
