Chowmahalla palace gets International recognition

UNESCO has recognised the Chowmahalla palace in Hyderabad as one of the heritage structures, with this Chowmahalla Palace of Hyderabad has got international recognition. The Chowmahalla Palace is located near the historic Mecca Masjid-Charminar complex in Hyderabad.

G Kishan Rao, the Chowmahalla Palace Trust director talking to the media persons disclosed the news in Hydearbad on Sept 13 2010.

The Chowmahlla Place complex was built by the Nizams of Hyderabad and was the official residence of Nizams. The complex comprises four palaces in Mughal and European styles, of which the main palace is two storeyed.
