Dattanna demands T liberation Day

Dattanna, senior BJP leader and former Union minister reiterated his demand that the State government organise Telangana Liberation Day celebrations on Sept 17 2010 officially.
Dattanna talking to the media at the BJP party office, said that people of the region waged a struggle for 180 years against the Nizam’s rule and liberated Telangana on Sept 17 1948. But for the sake of vote bank politics, some political parties were opposing the historic day by advancing irrational arguments.
