Govt. will issue a statement on withdrawal of cases

Aravinda Rao, the DGP who was appointed recently said that the govt would soon make a statement about the withdrawal of cases filed against pro T supporters during the Telangana movement.

In a statement made at Hyderabad, the DGP said all cases excepting those connected with property destruction would be withdrawn. DGP as stated the police department had already started screening of the cases so that a list of those that could be withdrawn could be prepared.

He assured that the government would make a statement on this within nest few days.
