Highlights from Telangana Divas Celebrations in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Telangana Dinostava Vedukalu has been celebrated on September 17 2010 at Indian Social Centre, Abu Dhabi by Gulf Telangana Welfare and Cultural Association (GTWCA).

The program was presided by Sri. T Harish Rao as chief guest and Desapathi Srinivas, B.Ganesh Gupta. Auditorium was tightly packed by the crowd three hours in advance. Program has started by Jyothi Prajwalam by Guests of Honour and GTWCA members.

Indian Flag was hoisted by the chief guest to mark the telangana dinostavam.

2 Minutes Silence homage has been paid to Telangana Martyrs.

Telangana Jateeya geetam “Jaya Jaya He Telangana” was song by Sri Desapathi Srinivas with chorus from the entire audience.

Sri B.Ganesh Gupta narrated the importance of separate telanagana in a brief speech.

Sri Desapathi as usual enthralled the audience with his speech and songs.

He insisted every telanganite to know his identity and fight for the real freedom from samaikyandhra.

In his emotional speech Desapathi has explained the forgotten Telangana Sayudha Poratam and the
recent development from Nov 29 ever since KCR sat on hunger strike and Dec 9 Announcement by
Central govt on the formation of telangana state till today.

Facilitated was followed by Sri T Harish Rao’s speech.

“We want telangana”does not have any boundaries according to Sri Harish Rao. He has explained the
recent movement with KCR hunger stike and repeated cheating acts by Samikya Andhra Leaders.

Telangana struggle is not for our elevation but our telanganites self esteem and self respect.

TDP & Congress match fixing is the main cause of students and telanganites students political
encounters and telanganites after Dec 9 declaration by Home Minister P.Chidambaram.

This movement is peace movement.

The program was organized by Gulf Telangana Welfare & Cultural Association members Srinivas Sharma,Juvvadi Srinivas Rao, Raja Srinivas Rao, Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, Sadanand Baddur, Raghu Ambati, Ravikanti Suman, Kiran Kumar Chinthakindi.
