Rallies, public meetings banned in Hyd
News pulse, Politics | admin | September 16, 2010 at 2:20 pmAK Khan, commissioner of Police, stated that he received information that certain groups were trying to create disturbances to affect peace and create riots and clashes in the city by inciting communal animosity between different communities. In the same regards AK Khan on sept 16 2010 issued a ban order prohibiting processions, dharnas, rallies or public meetings in the city from 6 pm on September 16 to 6 pm on September 28.
AK Khan also prohibited any individual or groups of individuals from making any speech likely to create religious hatred between communities or individuals or is likely to cause disturbance to the public peace in the limits of Hyderabad City.
