OU JAC supporters slam into Secretariat

Huge number of OU JAC supporters held a flash dharna and tried to slam into Secretariat and gate crash sending the security personnel and policemen on their feet. There was a chaos situation as this was not at all predicted and the policemen were not ready for this.

The T supporters reached the small gate meant for pedestrians and two wheelers and climbed it. The police poersonnel had a tough time in controlling them.

Receiving the information about the incident, the Central Zone DCP, Dr Arun Sabarwal arrived on the place along with the additional policemen. Scuffle took place between the policemen and agitators when they tried to control the OU JAC members. The police arrested the agitators and forcibly shifted them in a vehicle from the place.

The T supporters raised anti-govt slogans “CM down down” and “Jai Telangana”. Speaking to the media the OU JAC leader said that the State Government shouldn’t conduct the Andhra Pradesh Formation Day celebrations in Telangana region as that would hurt the sentiments of the Telangana people. He warned the Telangana Ministers not to participate in the celebrations of Andhra Pradesh Formation Day on November 1. The Telangana ministers would not be allowed to move in the region, if they participated in the Celebrations, he added.
