T congress leaders plan meeting at Karimnagar

Convener of the Congress MPs’ Forum, Ponnam Prabhakar clarified that no politics were involved behind the proposed Telangana martyrs commemoration meeting in Karimnagar.

Prabhakar talking to the media said that the meeting was being held only to express their veneration towards those who lost their lives in the struggle for Telangana and their own commitment towards statehood to the region. Reiterating that the State Congress leadership was committed to formation of Telangana State, he assured that he and other party leaders would do all they could to help the families who laid down their lives for Telangana.

Talking to the media persons, he said that all the Congress leaders from the Telangana region would participate in the Karimnagar meeting.
