Stop SI recruitment – OU JAC

The students and supporters of OU JAC demanded to stop the recruitment process of Sub-Inspectors of Police till the matter of Hyderabad free zone is finalized.
They held a huge rally protesting and demending that the recruitment process be stopped until the issue is resolved. They burnt the effigy of state home minister Sabita Indra Reddy at Tarnaka in the city.
OU JAC supporters are arguing that the city of Hyderabad is not a free zone. The students warned that they would lay down their lives if the govt did not stop the recruitment process.
As a ritual, the police arrested scores the students at Tarnaka in Hyderabad.
