50 paramilitary force companies in Telangana

At least 50 companies of Central paramilitary forces will be deployed in the state from December 24 in the context of the Sri Krishna Committee getting ready to submit its report on a separate Telangana state.

Sources in the state police said maximum number of paramilitary forces will be deployed in Telangana particularly Hyderabad and Cyberabad police commissionerate limits. Around 18 companies will be stationed in Hyderabad and five companies in Cyberabad, two each in all the districts of Telangana region, and one company each in the districts of Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions.

Sources said police is anticipating recurrence of violence in and around state capital more particularly in the Osmania University campus and surrounding areas.
